MANILA, Philippines - Rookie host and Valenzuela Rep. Shalani Soledad says there’s no truth to the rumor that controversial celebrity Willie Revillame bought her a resort in Batangas.
This denial was picked up by PEP Scoopbox on Feb. 9. It also reported that the lady politician only laughed at the rumor and told them to just ask Willie himself about it.
Meanwhile, no word addressing the issue has come from Willie yet.
Shalani’s response came out weeks after the issue cropped up, mostly on tabloids. This certainly fueled talks of their alleged romance, which started after Willie tapped Shalani to co-host “Willing Wille,” on the heels of her then-unconfirmed breakup with Pres. Noynoy Aquino.
She and Willie would later get linked to each other and even purported to have gone on dates together. Just last holiday season, the two were said to have been spotted in Boracay at the New Year’s Eve Party of Discovery Shores.
More, PEP reported on Dec. 8 that Willie was already courting her. This contradicted a story that came out on a broadsheet a few days earlier that said the two already have plans of tying the knot in July 2011.
Although Shalani continues to deny the issues being thrown her way, Willie is still often seen playing up the rumors by seemingly showing romantic interest on and saying sweet things to and about Shalani, mostly on his show.
