At least two quakes rocked Zambales in Central Luzon and Ilocos in Northern Luzon early Friday, but there were no reports of damage or casualties.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the first quake measuring magnitude 3.7 was recorded at 2:51 a.m. in Zambales.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake's epicenter was 106 kilometers (km) northwest of Iba town in Zambales.
The second quake was recorded in Ilocos Norte at 7:59 a.m., and measured magnitude 3.0.
Its epicenter was traced to 34 km southeast of Laoag City.
No damage or aftershock was expected from both quakes, Phivolcs said.
