MANILA, Philippines – Sexy star Janna Dominguez categorically denied rumors that she’s replaced Iwa Moto’s place in Mikey Ablan’s heart.
“No. Hindi naman talaga kami,” she told host John Lapus in his “Don’t Lie To Me Reloaded” segment on “Showbiz Central,” June 19.
Although she did not exactly say that Mikey is courting her, Janna admitted, “Pumunta siya sa bahay. Nakilala niya ‘yung tatay ko. Mas maganda ‘yung pinupuntahan ka sa bahay kesa sa kalsada.”
Reports of Janna dating Mikey surfaced recently after they were seen together in several occasions. But Janna maintained in a previous interview that nothing romantic was brewing between them.
“Ang nangyari, siguro siya kahihiwalay niya lang, ako kahihiwalay ko lang so parang siguro nag-meet lang kami. Lumalabas lang kami,” she said in a previous interview, adding, “Friend kami ni Iwa sa FHM pa lang tapos sa mga raket-raket.”
With the rumors about her and Mikey all over the place, has it not strained her friendship with Iwa?
“Okay kami. Friends pa rin naman kami. Saka parang ang pangit na pag-aawayan n’yo ‘yung lalaki, ‘di ba, tapos magkaibigan kayo, eh. Siyempre, labas ako sa away nila, ‘di ba?”
According to Janna, Iwa did not forewarn her about her ex-boyfriend. “Ay hindi, wala namang gano’n. Sabi niya naman mabait naman ‘yung tao.”
When asked when was the last time she spoke with Iwa, Janna quipped June 8. “Hindi kami nagkita, actually. Text lang,” she said.
In the same episode, Janna admitted she was once the girlfriend of "StarStruck" alumnus Seff Cadayona.
“Naging boyfriend ko siya,” she said. They were sweethearts for seven months.
