Most of John Apacible’s co-stars on “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigan” were shocked over his untimely death.
The actor, Enrique Rustia Apacible in real life, succumbed to two gun shot wounds after he was shot by his uncle Armando Rustia early Sunday of March 20. Apacible plays Lt. Col. Santiago on “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.”
Coco Martin, the lead star of the soap, said, “Na-shock lahat kami kasi ‘pag in-imagine mo siya, ang laki-laking tao.
Martin del Rosario, who was even able to act out a scene with the late actor, felt the same. Patay na daw talaga,” he said.
Andi Eigenmann learned the news through her mom Jaclyn Jose.
Lorna Tolentino hopes the Apacible’s family would be able to accept the actor’s passing.
I hope and I pray na ‘yung pamilya niya ang maka-cope up sa pangyayari.”
Tonton Gutierrez, who has worked with Apacible since the nineties, describes the late actor as “a very nice person. Magaling din na actor. Underrated nga lang pero magaling siyang actor.”
Apacible’s best friend, Lloyd Zagagoza, was emotional as he gave his message to the late actor.
No pain, no gain. Magkita na lang tayo sa taas,” he said.
Meanwhile, Gerald Anderson clarified he does not have any social networking account like Facebook and Twitter.
“Gusto ko lang po i-clear up sa lahat po ng sumusunod sa akin sa Twitter, sa Facebook, wala po akong Twitter at wala po akong Facebook so hindi po ako ang nagpo-posting,” the actor said on the same “SNN” episode.
Anderson is aware of the existence of numerous FB and Twitter account in his names and he feels his fans and supporters should be made aware that he does not own any of these.
Anderson and Sarah Geronimo, in a show of appreciation for the unwavering support they have been getting from their fans especially during the shooting for their forthcoming movie, hosted an intimate dinner for the Kimeralds and the Popsters.
