MANILA, Philippines – Reynel Hugnatan will be donning the Meralco colors this coming PBA season after being traded by the Alaska Aces to the Meralco Bolts in exchange for Hans Thiele and Paolo Bugia.
The burly forward’s entry to the Meralco team beefs up their frontline. Hugnatan is a power forward that can also second as a center when needed. He also brings championship experience to the Bolts which had also gotten the services of Sol Mercado from Rain or Shine last month.
At the same time, Meralco was also given the go-signal to sign up Marlou Aquino by PBA commissioner Chito Salud. Aquino is the third Barako Bull player from the dispersal draft to be signed up. The others were Pong Escobal (B-Meg) and Lordy Tugade (San Miguel Beer).
