The Philippine Azkals beat Mongolia, 2-0, in the opener of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge Football Cup Wednesday night, February 9, at the Pana-ad Stadium in Bacolod City.
During the 43rd minute of the first half, Emilio Caligdong scored the first goal for the Philippine Azkals. Phil Younghusband, on the other hand, gave the Azkals their second goal during the 94th minute of the game, ending the match.
The Philippines-Mongolia match was aired live on Studio 23.
